Here, you'll see photographs of the daily lives of various indigenous people found in the different highland regions of Ecuador. Also exhibited are representations of their mortuary practices.

Bowls with bones inside: This shows how the indigenous people used to be buried in an enclosure in the past. Given particular beliefs in the afterlife, they would place the body of the dead person in a fetal position inside a bowl symbolizing a woman's womb.
